Kellie D. Bailey MA CCC-SLP, MMT/SEL-I is the proud mother of Hannah (23) and Doyle (21) who have been her best life teachers. She is a veteran speech language pathologist of 28 years, a certified mindfulness meditation teacher and children’s author. Kellie works in public schools in Mid Coast Maine collaborating with K-8 grade educators to help children learn how to be Calm Cool Kids. She teaches Mindfulness in Education, Social Emotional Learning and topics for Speech Language Development and Disorders at The University of Maine in Farmington. Kellie is also partnering with the State for the Maine DOE providing workshops and trainings to educators across the state to enrich the lives of all students. Kellie is excited to share her new book, Some Days I Flip My Lid. This is her first novel in the Calm Cool Kids series. She resides in Northport, Maine with her husband Bruce.
